Avril O'Reilly
Social Work Team Leader
Avril has been working with children in care since 2015. She also has experience working with children and adults with disabilities, on multi-disciplinary teams in the community and in hospital settings. Avril is passionate about working in a collaborative way with families. She strives to promote approaches that focus on attachment, child development and trauma. Avril has completed additional training in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy.
Avril holds a master’s in social work from UCD and a masters in Systemic Family Therapy from the Clanwilliam Institute. Avril is passionate about psycho-education and giving families the tools they need to heal and learn and live safe and happy family lives. Avril is a member of the IASW and registered with CORU.
